He was a member and Past Master of the Floyd Springs Masonic Lodge #167, the Low 12 Club, the Day Light Lodge & Mackey Masonic Lodge in Cave Springs, the Gold Wing Association, Rome Shrine Club and The Eastern Star. He resided in Rome, Georgia.
